The adoption of the Falling Film Tube Evaporator results in energy savings through the following two steps, illustrated in the image below. This new evaporation method helps reduce steam consumption, shortens the evaporation time, improves syrup color quality, and minimizes sugar loss during processing. <br><br>The method was first implemented at Mitr Phol Amnat Charoen Sugar Mill. Previously, the evaporation process required 360 kg of steam per ton of sugarcane. After adopting the new method, steam consumption was reduced to 330 kg of steam per ton of sugarcane.
