Respect for human rights is a fundamental principle that fosters trust and confidence among all stakeholder groups. The Company conducts Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) to identify, assess, and manage human rights risks and impacts arising from its operations and activities throughout the value chain.

Management Approach

Mitr Phol is committed to complying with applicable laws and regulations and aligning its operations with internationally recognized standards, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). The Company also upholds the International Labour Organization's (ILO) fundamental principles and rights at work. In addition, Mitr Phol has established and periodically reviews its Human Rights Policy and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Policy, both endorsed by the Chairman of the Board. The Company regularly assesses human rights risks throughout its value chain and collaborates with relevant functions to implement clear management approaches aligned with these policies, thereby strengthening stakeholder confidence and supporting sustainable business operations.

Human Rights Due Diligence

Mitr Phol has conducted Human Rights Due Diligence in alignment with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights every 3 years by identifying and assessing human rights risks, developing mitigation measures and risk prevention strategies. In 2024, the Company held internal workshops to review human rights risks related to business activities across 7 business groups of Mitr Phol in Thailand. The assessment covered 100% of operational areas across the business value chain, including subsidiaries and investments in related businesses (mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures). The assessment covers forced labor, human trafficking, child labor, freedom of association, right to collective bargaining, equal remuneration, discrimination, harassment, and other related topics that may affect the Company's stakeholders, employees, third-party employees, and vulnerable populations, such as children, women, people with disabilities, migrant workers, and local communities.

Remark: No Indigenous Peoples have been identified within the Company's areas of operation.

Scope of Human Rights Due Diligence
Based on a human rights risk assessment conducted across the Company's business operations and supply chain activities in Thailand, 12 out of 43 operational sites, representing 27.91% of all operational sites, were identified as having salient human rights issues. The Company has implemented mitigation measures across 100% of these identified sites. Whistleblowing Channels

To demonstrate its commitment to addressing human rights issues with transparency and in collaboration with stakeholders, Mitr Phol has established channels for reporting all forms of human rights violations, such as inequality, discrimination, harassment, and labor rights violations. The Company emphasizes protecting the rights of complainants and whistleblowers. All reports are handled confidentially and transparently, with thorough investigations and resolutions conducted within a defined timeframe. Mitr Phol also ensures regular communication with complainants and affected individuals throughout the process and considers fair and appropriate remedies based on the specific circumstances of each case. Whistleblowers may report concerns anonymously through the channels provided. The Corporate Governance Department is responsible for receiving, consolidating, and forwarding all complaints for further action. Both internal and external stakeholders of Mitr Phol Group and its subsidiaries are welcome to submit complaints through the following channels:

Remedy and Reparation

After receiving complaints regarding human rights violations, the Company will conduct a thorough and transparent investigation. If it is determined that the Company's operations have contributed to or caused a violation, appropriate remedies will be provided to affected parties based on the specific circumstances and nature of each case. Employees found to have violated human rights will be considered in breach of the Company's Code of Conduct and will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include suspension, wage deductions, dismissal, and legal penalties if the actions are deemed unlawful.

Promoting Human Rights Awareness and Understanding

Mitr Phol has continuously promoted awareness and positive behaviors with respect to human rights. The Company has adopted human rights-related policies, including a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Policy, and communicates these through various channels. Training programs covering human rights principles are also provided to build understanding of fundamental rights, freedoms, responsibilities, and human rights laws, including respect for human rights in accordance with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs).

In 2025, the Company delivered two fundamental human rights training courses: (1) Rights, Freedoms and Human Responsibilities, and (2) Responsible Business Conduct and Respect for Human Rights in line with the UNGPs. A total of 4,343 employees completed the training and passed the assessments, representing 83.76% of all participants. The Company also conducted a Labour Relations Management training programme for Human Resources personnel to strengthen and refresh their knowledge of labour laws, labour protection, and good labour practices, enabling them to effectively apply this knowledge in their work. Participants were required to pass a post-training assessment against established criteria. In addition, the Company plans to periodically review and reinforce labour law knowledge among trained employees to support continuous professional development.

Strengthening Human Rights Through Collaboration

Mitr Phol collaborates with customers to promote human rights awareness through various initiatives. In 2025, the Company conducted awareness-raising activities on human rights and labor rights for sugarcane farmer suppliers in areas surrounding Mitr Phol Sugar Mill in Suphanburi Province. The activities aimed to enhance understanding of labor laws, the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and appropriate chemical management practices. Information on grievance channels provided by Mitr Phol and the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare (DLPW) was also communicated. Post-activity assessments indicated that participating farmers had improved knowledge and understanding of these topics, as well as greater awareness of the available grievance channels. The Company will continue collaborating with customers to advance human rights initiatives on an ongoing basis.
