Food Loss and Food Waste Policy

Mitr Phol Sugar Corp.,Ltd strives to have in place a group-wide commitment with a goal to reduce food loss (sugar) during the manufacturing process, which includes food waste throughout the value chain. This is in order to become more sustainable in our manufacturing and consumption, as well as strengthening food security. Moreover, the Company strives to minimize the climate change situation while supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) Policy

Mitr Phol Group acknowledges the customer and consumer’s concerns on Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). We are committed to delivering safe and high quality sugar. Our policy clearly states that we only use non-GMOs to produce sugar.

Cybersecurity Policy

This policy consists of IT asset protection, monitoring, and supervising the IT department regarding IT system management and data processing protection against cyber threats. It also covers our business units, which manage their own IT systems and data processing without supervision from the IT Department, requiring strict compliance to mitigate or inhibit potential cyber threat risks.

The Use of Chemicals and Hazardous Substances in Agriculture Policy

Mitr Phol Group is committed to promoting the reduction of chemical and hazardous substance use in agriculture. We recommend using these substances only in necessary and appropriate quantities to comply with sustainable agricultural standards. We recognize that chemicals and hazardous substances are currently being used improperly and excessively in agriculture.
